Casual Drawings of Characters
I created these drawings when I was waiting for games or whenever I got bored during the day. I do wish that I made these on proper drawing paper so I didn't have the blue lines through all the drawings because I like them so much. Each photo shines in its own way for me.
Black Lagoon - Rebecca Lee / Revy
A friend asked me to draw this character as it was one of their favorite characters. I enjoyed creating this drawing even though it was probably the longest I spent on any of them. In this drawing I got the chance to improvise when it came to the tattoo. That was fun for me because when looking at other references, I could not find a definitive size or shape of the tattoo so I just made what I thought would fit it best.
Violet Evergarden - Violet Evergarden
I loved the artwork in this show and had to attempt to recreate the main character. I thoroughly enjoyed drawing this character. Personally I wished I drew the entire character before filling in everything because I really enjoy the second progress photo. My favorite part was the hair creation.
My Hero Academia - Izuku Midoriya / Deku
This was my first drawing in my notebook. This is one of the most accurate sketches out of all of them due to the fact that it is a smaller drawing but still one of my favorites.
Demon Slayer - Tanjiro Kamado
This was my second drawing in my notebook. I like this drawing because of how accurate it is to the reference and I learned how to properly create an "anime face" because the curvature with the nose is very exaggerated.
My Hero Academia - Mr. Aizawa / Eraserhead
This was also a requested character from one of my friends. I already had a MHA character in my notebook so I was reluctant at first but I still enjoyed creating him. His hair and boot, even though they are simple, were my favorite thing to create in this drawing.
Fate Zero - Kiritsugu Emiya
This drawing was done mostly while in queue for a game and I think that this is one of my weaker drawings out of the bunch. I don't see too much special about it and even though the character is supposed to have a very "dead" look in his eyes, it translated almost too well to paper.
Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? - Bell Cranel
This character was difficult to find a good reference photo for because of how little details are in his outfit and face. At first I made him too wide as seen in the progress photo where I still think he could be slimmed a little more but overall I enjoyed creating his face. His hair was simple slopes where the shading was simple and fun and I got to add in his right eye as it wasn't fully in the reference photo.
